Showroom Host – On- Call – Variable (Reno) | Caesers

Job Description

To make sure all guests have a pleasant and positive experience attending a show.

  • To seat guests and make sure all problems are handled in a quick and professional manner
  • To accept tickets at the door and ensure they are for the day of the show and direct to the right section
  • To ensure the safety of all guests
  • To make sure the showroom is presentable
  • To deal with challenging situations
  • Picking up glasses and putting into bus tubs. Throwing away garbage and bottles.
  • Usher non-show events sponsored by other departments or organizations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Ability to smile, make eye contact and communicate easily with the public
  • Regular and dependable attendance
  • Positive attitude and ability to be courteous during demanding times
  • Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Work is performed in an area which may be unusually noisy and crowded.
  • Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity as well as the ability to distinguish letters, symbols
  • Work area is subject to variable temperatures.
  • May be subject to smoking environment and moderate noise.
