Dry Clean Production Manager 

 

Scope 

This is a manager level position requiring laundry operations experience that will be responsible for overseeing a complete laundry and Dry Cleaning facility handling linen laundering for hotel guest rooms, food & beverage operations, convention centers, guest clothing and employee uniforms.  This role has responsibility for ensuring safe and efficient operation of laundering equipment by an assigned team of up to 25 team members.  Candidate will also be responsible for accurate reporting of the department productivity using excel, word and any other reporting tools and timely completion of work assignments with a high level of productivity while maintaining high positivity in a fast-paced work environment.  Job duties will include the following but will not be limited to; 

 

  • Strong understanding of commercial dry clean equipment including but not limited to; Washers, dryers, dry clean machines, pressing irons, cuff an collar press, puff irons, spotting board, steam tunnel, and overhead transportation conveyors. 
  • Candidate will be expected to record daily productivity and interpret daily ordering in excel or other computer applications. 
  • Candidate will oversee and facilitate equipment training ensuring all team members meet Caesars high standards for safety. 
  • Candidate shall possess strong troubleshooting skills for laundry equipment to resolve minor jams and/or loading issues. 
  • Candidate will have strong knowledge scheduling routes and deliveries to properties in Southern Nevada including Laughlin on a daily basis ensuring staff is properly assigned to the correct functions to meet the demands of the daily orders. 
  • Strong computer skills and software knowledge will be required.  Position will be in periodic use of electronic MMS work order systems, and company specific programs.   
  • Candidate will be expected to demonstrate safe work practices with a solid understanding of safety requirements when working with Steam and other high temperature equipment. 
  • Candidate will be expected to demonstrate safe work practices with a solid understanding of safety requirements when working with various cleaning chemicals. 
  • Per OSHA guidelines, candidate must participate in all company provided safety training and follow all required safety guidelines and processes established in the department. 
  • Should be able to communicate professionally in all email correspondence. 
  • Will be required to hit deadlines and complete job tasks as set by leadership without direct monitoring or oversight.  Additionally, candidate will oversee and delegate supervisory and lead level team members in their daily job duties and assignments. 
  • Must be flexible to schedule additional hours if needed for assistance with various projects or onsite coverage. 
  • Must have the ability to handle tools, supplies and equipment exceeding 50lbs, utilizing tool assistance as needed. 
  • Will mentor and develop any entry level positions and own the responsibility of their exposure and progress if assigned.  
  • Will support team compliance to company and department policies and procedures.  Position may be required to issue discipline for violations to those procedures.  
  • Position will interview potential candidates to join the team in various positions throughout the production floor. 

Minimum Candidate Requirements 

  • Strong computer skills (MS products including Excel) 
  • Good communication skills (oral and written) 
  • Must be Bi-Lingual to ensure strong communication and understanding with all employees.  (English and Spanish)

  • Production floor with varying temperatures
