Your tasks:

 

 

  • Supports the Area Director of Operations in the implementation of the Meeting & Events strategy for all the six hotels in OC East, responsibility to meet the objectives defined in the Business Plan for each hotel
  • Supports the Area Director of Operations in the preparation of quantifiable and qualitative objectives for the Group & Events team
  • Responsible for achieving the budget for the MICE segment both in terms of rooms (number of room nights and room revenue), event room rental and F&B sales associated with groups through the management of the Group & Events Quotation team in the operation sales area
  • Define upselling objectives for each hotel group/event to surpass budget
  • Develops working relationships with outside vendors and establishes prices and service agreements to enhance the event experience.
  • Define the action plan to generate business through social events and meetings with or without accommodation. These actions will become part of the department’s Business Plan
  • Participate in budget preparation for the MICE segment and the Annual Business Plan of hotels in the sales area
  • Maintain fluid and appropriate communication with the Group Sales team in each hotel and update them on issues related to their functions/responsibilities (site inspections, specific room set-ups, etc.)

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • You have completed a degree in hotel management, tourism or a comparable field or you have a similar qualification
  • You worked already in a similar role and you know how to handle different properties
  • You are organized, structured and do not lose track of your tasks
  • You are a strong communicator and enjoy working in a team
  • You like customer contact and know how to respond individually to different personalities
  • You are fluent in German and English
