Global Public Affairs is seeking an Associate with exceptional interpersonal, digital media and writing skills to join their Asia-Pacific team. This role is based in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

  • Compile media reports; draft briefing notes, communications plans, talking points and speeches for Blackstone’s senior executives

  • Work with Blackstone business teams on public roll outs around transactions

  • Support senior Public Affairs team to identify and work with media

  • Conduct in-depth research for projects across Blackstone business units

  • Research, outline, edit and proofread materials

  • Work with local APAC-based agencies to design and execute digital campaigns across key markets in the region, including but not limited to social media, paid search and display advertising

  • Oversee and drive the LinkedIn program for key executives in the APAC region

  • Liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders including investment teams, corporate functions and portfolio companies to generate content and campaign ideas from ideation to delivery

  • Conduct daily media monitoring on firm and industry news

  • Lead measurement and reporting of marketing and social media activities

Qualifications:

Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.  The successful candidate should possess:

  • 5-7 years relevant work experience plus minimum of a bachelor’s degree

  • Proficient in English, other Asian languages, particularly Mandarin Chinese, a plus

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task; thrives in a dynamic and creative environment

  • Team player

  • Ability to understand and write clearly about technical subjects

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Fluency in digital platforms, publishing and social media deployment, SEO and monitoring/measurement tools

  • Experience in crafting digital content assets, including using Canva

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (including PowerPoint, emphasis on Outlook and Excel)
