About the role

Our Dry Clean Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining various tasks in the laundry. Their duties include starting and operating washing machines, dry cleaners, and other equipment.

What you will do

  • Receive items from guests and mark them with codes or names.

  • Cleaning, pressing, ironing, mending and sewing a variety of different items.

  • Inspect articles for stains and fabrics that require special care.

  • Remove, sort, and hang clothing and other articles after they are removed from the machines.

  • Clean and maintain laundry and dry-cleaning machines.

  • Sort articles to be cleaned by fabric type, colour, and cleaning technique.

  • Load clothing into laundry and dry-cleaning machines.

  • Add detergent, bleach, and other chemicals to laundry and dry-cleaning machines.

  • Updating guests records on the system.

What you bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in dry cleaning or laundry services.

  • Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques.

  • Ability to safely operate dry cleaning machines.

  • Ability to read and follow instructions.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Good organizational capabilities.

  • Ability to work independently or in a team.

  • Flexibility to work in shifts.
