What will you be doing?

The Casual Commis Chef role will be primarily working afternoons/evenings 2-3 days a week. You will utilise your creative flair and passion for food and will be responsible for performing the following tasks;

  • Working effectively within the Kitchen team to ensure high food standards and the delivery of an exceptional guest experience
  • Managing and maintaining a clean working environment
  • Ensuring the reduction of food wastage
  • Assisting the team with general food preparation
  • Ensuring correct handling and storage of all food products

What are we looking for?

  • Previous Apprentice chef or Commis chef experience
  • Experience with al la carte and banquets
  • Confident communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences
  • Excellent planning, organising and time management skills
  • Ability to work within a team
