Position Overview:

A Box Office Team Lead is responsible for all the same duties and responsibilities as a ticket seller.  A Box Office team lead additionally will assist supervisors with running shifts and always being a key resource for them to ask questions and seek help. Expectation of a Team Lead is to step in and run shifts as directed by a box office supervisor or CET management.  A Team Lead will be held accountable and report to the Box Office Supervisor.  Team Lead brings an upbeat and positive attitude and creates and maintains a positive work environment for ticket sellers.  Team Lead is expected to lead by example and step in as needed by supervisors and management to ensure that ticket sellers are following policy and procedure.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Will efficiently make guest reservations and issue tickets on site for all CET shows, special events, casino marketing and 3rd parties as approved by CET management
  • Assist with guest issues, inventory management and event creation submissions as needed and directed by management
  • Help instruct and training of box office new hires
  • Assist with implementing new information and training to existing agents as needed or required by Box Office Manager/Sr. Supervisor/Supervisor
  • Will be able to process refunds, resolve guest situations, and will be expected to keep current about company products and procedures
  • Will work based on business demands and as scheduled by CET management
  • They will be responsible for being knowledgeable of all current events taking place within the property at which they work as well as the other CET properties to better assist guests
  • Is expected to be proficient with the ticketing system and act as liaison on behalf of the guest to expedite guest requests with other team members and departments
  • Will anticipate guest needs and expectations as they relate to our CET shows and properties

 

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:  

Required to sit, use hands to finger coordination/handle/feel, reach with hands, arms; talk and hear.  Occasionally will stand, walk, climb/balance, stoop/kneel/crouch/crawl and taste and smell.  Occasionally will need to lift up to 25 lbs.  Required to use close and ability to focus vision.  Frequently will need to use distance, color, peripheral and depth vision.  Occasionally the work environment will be wet or humid and contain moving parts.  Occasionally the work environment will contain fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic fumes.  The noise level occasionally will be very loud.
