THE JOB:

As a Guest Services Representative, your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth, enjoyable and WOW stay for all guests. You will assist with answering guest inquiries about hotel services, features, and local attractions and activities.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Answer phone calls, handle reservations, suggest dinners and shows at the property as well as other MGMRI attractions and activities.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist front desk staff with the proper room assignments. Ensure hotel rooms are being blocked to allow for revenue maximization.
  • Pre-assign, pre-key and prepare all guests packets for designated arrivals.
  • Review/track/accommodate requests for changes and communicate to appropriate staff.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs.
  • Run all daily reports that are required to complete necessary job duties including but not limited to group arrivals and departures, housekeeping briefs, trace reports etc.
  • Balance clerk/cashier postings, cash and credit transactions on a daily basis.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Prior front desk or guest services representative experience.
  • Prior high-volume call center experience.
  • Prior customer or guest services experience.
  • Prior casino, hotel or similar resort setting experience.
  • Previous OPERA software experience.
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office programs.
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Takes pride in their work, can multi-task and describes themselves as detail oriented.
  • Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression.

THE STARTING PAY:

  • $ 19.26 per hour

THE SCHEDULE:

  • On-Call. Must be able to work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays.
