PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The VP Human Resources is responsible partnering with HR CoE leaders to define HR strategies and initiatives and partnership with senior leaders to drive consistent execution of corporate strategies and processes that align to Portfolio needs and priorities, with a focus on Talent Management, Organizational Effectiveness, Change Management, Guest Service and Culture. This leader creates comprehensive strategies, initiatives, action plans and processes to build a performance culture and improve critical organizational performance in the areas of employee engagement and guest service. 

  • Partner with HR CoE Leaders, Portfolio Presidents and Property Presidents to develop and lead execution of talent management and employee engagement strategies. Ensure consistent implementation of strategies across portfolios.

  • Serve as an organization consultant, leadership development coach and chief talent officer to Portfolio Presidents and Property Presidents on organizational performance, organizational culture, talent management and leadership development issues with a focus on enhancing onboarding, increasing leadership capabilities and supporting the Company-wide talent management and succession planning processes.

  • Recruit, select, coach and develop property HR leaders to build leadership bench strength.

  • Assess and evaluate property HR performance against KPIs. Consult, support and provide guidance to property HR leaders to develop action plans to address employee feedback (surveys, leadership feedback, etc.)

  • Recruit, identify, assess, and develop leadership talent pipelines across Portfolio to build enterprise leadership bench strength for critical positions.

  • Develop and oversee property-specific executive onboarding plans.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Seven (7) years of prior relevant experience in HR leadership or operational leadership experience in a Hospitality, Gaming or similar setting.
