THE JOB:

As a VIP Lounge Representative, you will be responsible for warmly greeting patrons, verify their credentials, and assist them with checking in for their stay. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their time with us. 

STARTING RATE: $19.00/hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Answering Questions and Facilitating Reservations:
    • Engage with patrons, addressing their queries and providing information about lounge amenities.
    • Assist in making reservations for services like spa treatments, dining, or entertainment.
  • Efficient VIP Check-In/Out Process:
    • Streamline the check-in and check-out process for VIP guests.
    • Ensure a seamless experience by coordinating with front desk staff and maintaining excellent communication with guests.
  • Handling Guest Bills and Additional Charges:
    • Collaborate with casino hosts to resolve any additional charges related to food, beverages, or show tickets.
    • Verify the accuracy of charges and credits on guest bills.
  • Cash Handling and Transaction Management:
    • Collect payments from guests, handling both cash and credit transactions.
    • Demonstrate responsibility in balancing cash and cash equivalents according to property procedures.
  • Daily Opening Procedures:
    • Prepare the VIP lounge for the day by following department standards.
    • Assign rooms for arriving VIP guests.
  • Daily Closing Procedures:
    • Ensure all guest rooms are assigned and amenities are delivered.
    • Retrieve prepared keys from the front desk.
    • Run next day arrival reports.
    • Forward phones to the appropriate channels.
    • Securely lock the VIP lounge.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED: A basic educational qualification is essential.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 Year of Guest Service, Front Desk, or Concierge Experience: Prior experience in customer service roles is valuable for understanding guest needs and providing exceptional service.

Software Proficiency:

  • Experience with Opera Software: Familiarity with Opera, a popular property management system used in the hospitality industry, is advantageous.

Language Skills:

  • Bilingual: Proficiency in at least two languages (in addition to English) is highly desirable. This skill facilitates effective communication with diverse guests.
