The gorgeous Waldorf Astoria Resort in Maui, Grand Wailea, is looking for a Valet Parking Cashier to join the Team! 

Located on 40 acres of lush tropical gardens, this Forbes 4-Star, AAA 4-Diamond property is consistently ranked among the world’s best resorts with 780 rooms, 100,000 square feet of banquet space, and 7 food and beverage outlets. This includes 3 restaurants, 3 bars, a cafe, and in-room dining.

·         Shift: Various – must have availability to work overnights, weekends, weekdays, and holidays.

What will I be doing?

As a Valet Parking Cashier, you would be responsible for greeting guests and processing all parking transactions and associated fees in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Greet arriving and departing guests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Total, process and collect payments from guests and all parking transactions to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, managing a bank, reporting discrepancies, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates, cards, vouchers and credits
  • Operate and manage the parking booth area
  • Maintain accurate records of parking-related charges and fees including, but not limited to parking rates, validations, accrued parking time, vehicles in the hotel’s care, etc.
  • Manage flow of traffic, as needed
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner

Pay Range: The hourly rate is $25.10 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
