Job Description
Overview: The Host will be responsible for providing a gracious and welcoming experience for our Revere Room guests and assisting in organizing the facilities while maintaining our luxury service standards.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Meets guest and Company service standards at all times.
- Take and confirm reservations in person and through online platforms.
- Practices all safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Sets and cleans the tables and lounge areas while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards.
- Exceeds standards of appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Six months experience in a similar position, preferably with a luxury or ultra-luxury resort or restaurant
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to effectively interact with individuals or small groups of people
- Knowledge of fine cuisine and beverage service a plus
- Must have a flexible schedule which requires (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
- Able to communicate effectively in the English language. Fluency in other languages is a plus
- Food Handlers Certification is required.
Education: High school diploma
The pay scale for this position is between $19.07 and $19.57/hour plus tips. This is the pay range for this position that the Hotel reasonably expects to pay.
