THE JOB:
As a Fountain Worker, you will set the stage for an excellent guest experience by serving guests in our on-site Starbucks! By understanding our guests’ unique stories and needs, you will deliver WOW experiences that our guests will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.
THE STARTING RATE: $14.367
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Take and process orders, then serve and garnish food and drinks quickly and accurately
- Handle money properly, following cash handling procedures
- Keep the front and back areas clean: clear tables, sweep the dining area, and maintain cleanliness without disturbing guests
- Pack and complete orders according to guests’ preferences, including any condiments
- Label and date products according to safety and sanitation rules
- Handle opening and closing tasks based on your shift
- Unload and stock orders from the warehouse, keeping everything organized and replenished as needed
- Address guest complaints within your ability, and escalate issues to management if needed; also, report any unusual events or missing items to your supervisor or Security
- Carry out other tasks as needed
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Food Handlers card
- Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Six (6) months of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast paced restaurant
- Six (6) months of experience of guest service experience
- Basic computer skills and experience with varied Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Looks forward to working with a team to provide positive experiences
- Takes pride in their work, can multi-task and describes themselves as detail oriented
- Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression
