Job Description
The Spa at Kauri Cliffs is nestled at the edge of a Totara forest, complete with a couples treatment which opens to a private outdoor sanctuary. It also offers a fully equipped fitness centre, indoor lap pool, sauna and spa pool along with changing facilities. We provide a spectrum of personalized treatments from indulgent massages and facials to elegant nail services, within a luxurious space that includes a sauna, jacuzzi, heated lap pool and fitness centre.
About the Role:
This is a seasonal position with flexibility around duration – Northland is a beautiful destination to spend your summer, and our spa is the perfect spot for someone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle. In this role you will:
- Provide professional and 5 star quality guest service
- Carry out all spa treatments in line with our high standards
- Maintain a proficient knowledge of spa services and products, understanding all applications and benefits
- Booking appointments, assisting with inquiries and answering phone calls
- Keeping our luxurious Spa looking beautiful
What you will bring:
- A diploma level qualification in beauty and / or massage therapy
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in hotel environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Immaculate presentation and grooming
What we offer:
Working with brands native to New Zealand and Australia such as Shemana, Manuka Honey and perform a range of luxury Spa Treatments, including massages, scrubs, Holistic Therapies. We have a half an hour turn over time between guests and we encourage you to bring your passion and ideas to create customised guest treatments.
While we have a small team here at Kauri Cliffs, you will have extensive training opportunities from both our Spa Manager, and the gloabal support from the Rosewood Wellness team.
