THE JOB:

As a Assistant Chef Restaurant, you will be responsible for quality and proper presentation. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Conduct training for Cooks, Garde Manger and Pantry Workers on job responsibilities

  • Ensure requisitions are processed properly and placed in designated area

  • Label and date all products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation

  • Create, read, measure, and execute recipes

  • Maintain an exceptional menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation

  • Ensure food quality is superior and take action to correct any irregularities

  • Assist Executive Chef by controlling purchasing, receiving, purveyor lists and inventory of all kitchen items

  • Prepare and administer kitchen schedule, payroll, training, issuing discipline, and coaching

 THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent educational certificate

  • 2+ Years of Prior Sous Chef Experience and or High Volume Restaurant/Production Kitchen Experience

  • Multi-outlet culinary experience

  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

  • Describes themselves as detail-oriented

  • Can handle multiple tasks at one time
