Job Scope

Prepare and serve a range of menu items that meet guests’ expectations, whilst supervising junior members of the Kitchen Brigade.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Accountable for overall success of the daily kitchen operations. Exhibits culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff and managing all food related functions. Works to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Supervises all kitchen areas to ensure a consistent, high quality product is produced. Responsible for guiding and developing staff including direct reports. Must ensure sanitation and food standards are achieved.

What we need from you

  • Diploma degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or related field 
  • 4+ years’ related experience, including supervises all kitchen areas experience. 
  • Operational Excellence: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer Focus: The ability to anticipate and exceed guest expectations is paramount.
  • Financial Acumen: Proficiency in budgeting, cost control.
  • Strong Culinary Knowledge: A deep understanding of culinary techniques, food trends, and menu development & Promotions.
  • Outstanding administrative skills and communication and leadership skills.
