The Asia Pacific (APAC) Brands function is responsible for ensuring that Hilton’s global brands are an attractive investment value proposition for owners in the region and that they deliver experiences which attract, excite, and inspire guests in and to the region.

We achieve this goal through distinctive brands, products and services which consistently deliver a friendly and reliable stay to exceed our guests’ expectations and drive owner return. Equally important is winning hearts and minds of our regional and global stakeholders, including Hilton’s five sub-regions within the APAC and functional groups such as Commercial Services, Human Resources, Technology, and Procurement. The Senior Manager/Director, Strategic Planning and Innovation is responsible for directly supporting senior leadership of the APAC Brands function in driving alignment across our stakeholders and independently aligning his/her peers.  Example responsibilities include:

  • Managing weekly and monthly senior leadership agendas, meetings, and reporting
  • Executing global and regional strategic planning processes
  • Managing department finances and budgeting processes
  • Planning small and large internal events to inspire, inform, and educate corporate and hotel Team Members
  • Preparing senior leadership for key presentations and events
  • Crafting written narratives and/or presentations that inspire senior stakeholders about our 19 brands; our managed, franchised, and MLA business models; our unique brand products and services; and our brand support services
  • Planning pilots, presentations, and/or showcases to introduce new brand products and services to a variety of internal and external audiences

The role reports to the Senior Director, Strategic Planning and Innovation and will also work closely with the SVP, Brands APAC.

What will I be doing? 

As the Senior Manager/Director, Strategic Planning and Innovation – APAC, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Develop meeting agendas, analyses, and documents to enable Brand leadership to drive alignment
  • Submitting regular reports and progress updates on key activities of the APAC Brands team
  • Support Brand leadership for key presentations and events
  • Align global and regional stakeholders on proposed brand projects
  • Manage departmental budget
  • Write communications to explain programs and drive program implementation
  • Present findings verbally and in writing in a clear and compelling manner
  • Own and drive discrete projects independently, including work planning to enable on-time completion of deliverables
  • Work with internal and external partners to conduct hotel, guest, and owner research

  • Independent and self-starter, able to work without supervision
  • A team player who works well in a matrixed, multi-geography environment
  • Experienced in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Able to travel up to 25%

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS/Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 to 7 years of related experience 

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • 7+ years of related experience
