PRIMARY PURPOSE:

As the Chef Concierge, your primary responsibility is to establish, implement, and cultivate a concierge department dedicated to delivering exceptional service and promptly meeting guests' needs. You'll curate a team of polished, highly trained professional concierges who excel in providing service that fosters guest loyalty. Setting the bar for professionalism, you'll develop procedures and conduct training to ensure the highest standards of service delivery. Your role extends to instructing and enforcing protocols and etiquette, shaping a positive perception of MGM Resorts and its service culture.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Elevating Guest Experience: You'll ensure that our service remains top-notch by researching, developing, and implementing new products, services, and technologies. Your keen eye on industry trends will keep us ahead of the curve in meeting dynamic customer needs within the hospitality and gaming environment.

  • Policy and Procedure Development: You'll develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to guarantee prompt, efficient service delivery to all guests. Your expertise will ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements while fostering a work environment that encourages teamwork, performance, and employee satisfaction.

  • Operational Oversight: You'll manage operational functions within the department in line with the strategic plan and vision, ensuring alignment with divisional and property objectives.

  • Collaboration and Communication: You'll interact and communicate with partners to seamlessly integrate services provided to guests, fostering strong relationships across the organization.

  • Budget and Labor Management: You'll be responsible for monitoring daily labor and departmental budgets, exercising forecasting skills to maintain control and efficiency.

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in hospitality, management, or related field or equivalent experience.

  • 2 years of prior relevant experience in the direction and management of employees in a similar hotel environment.
