About the role

Responsible for assisting the interpretation of business analytics into tactical strategy – provides focused expertise that will guide and direct the hotel revenue team through effective and measurable revenue management initiatives. Supervise hotel distribution team for managing direct and third-party channels distribution. The priority will be room revenue, with a growing focus on total revenue management. This role is part of Sales & Marketing department, reporting into the Director of Marketing.

 

What you will do

  • Support Director of Marketing to effectively manage inventory, pricing in all distribution channels, including Branded Web, 3rd Party Sites and Global Distribution System (GDS). Leverage market segments, booking channels and demand drivers to achieve revenue targets.  

  • Interpret business analytics into meaningful action to improve performance. Responsible for market / competitive set monitoring, analysis, and time sensitive action in a highly competitive market.   

  • Leverage analytical tools and systems toward the goal of maximizing total hotels revenues and profits. Business owner of all Revenue Management systems and tools, including but not limited to IDeaS G3 RMS, Opera, BI tools, STR, Lighthouse, Travelclick.

  • Supervise distribution team to actively managing professional relationships with OTA market managers and leverage third party channels to maximize revenue and profit. Proactively seek for opportunities including marketing promotions, campaigns that will benefit hotel 

 

What you bring

  • Minimum three year of experience preferably in a luxury hospitality or other equivalent experience is required and Chinese speaker.

  • Requires knowledge or the ability to operate computer equipment including word processing and spreadsheet software. 

  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint 

  • Has strong interpersonal skills, is able to prioritize and adapt to the changing needs of the operation.

  • Requires basic computer skills for online training. 

  • Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English and Chinese language. 

  • Has the ability to anticipate and prioritize the needs of the guest proactively.

  • Is energetic and has a professional approach to his/her craft.

Schedule & Hours:

  • This is a full-time position. 

  • The working hours will primarily be daytime, during weekdays and weekends.
