Job Description



Job Summary

1.       Assist Director of Revenue to prepare reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

2.       Assist compiling and preparing required analysis on distribution results and hotels performance, or other ad-hoc reports and analysis.

3.       Understand the hotel nature and the market we are in and to optimize the correct rates positioning in relation to the market place.

4.       To survey the market and competitors in terms of pricing with the help of Rate Shoppers tools as a basis for future pricing strategies.

5.       Internet research to control rate parity and hotel availability.

6.       Monitors and responds to changing market conditions through detailed business intelligence analysis.

7.       To run a group request in revenue management system for displacement analysis and future references.

8.       Regularly check the input and quality of data (correct segmentation, denials tracking, etc).

9.       Consult and implement daily recommendations on inventory and distribution tools.

10.   Ensure the distribution systems are operating according to hotel standard operating procedures.

11.   Update database/seasonality in revenue management system from time to time whenever there is any update on the events/fairs period change in the city which will affect the hotel business.

12.   Review analytics to measure success/failure of any campaigns.

13.   Attends all Sales & Marketing meetings when required.

14.   Attends promotional events in the hotel.

15.   Carries out other tasks as directed by supervisor.

Required skills

1. Excellent analytical and communication skills combined with creativity and innovation. Outside the box thinker

2. Expert RM Skills with a focus on ADR maximization, GOP optimization through total revenue focus

3. Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and Opera. Revenue Management system such as IDEAS/EZRMS would be highly appreciated

4. Thorough knowledge of GDS, IDS and all distribution systems

5.Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of employees. Good team working skills and able to work effectively under pressure

6.  Flexible and able to embrace and respond to change effectively. Ability to work independently with good initiative under dynamic environment

7. Good presentation and influencing skills

8.  Multicultural awareness and able to work with people from diverse cultures

Minimum 2 years of related work experience, preferably in hotels
