PRIMARY PURPOSE:
It is the responsibility of the Retail Stock Associate to verify and prepare merchandise and operating supplies for the retail shop while maintaining a strong sense of pride and responsibility for the organization and cleanliness of shopping and storage areas.
THE STARTING RATE: $16.50
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Count, inspect, and prepare merchandise upon delivery in order to transport it to retail stores and storage rooms
- Stock and replenish merchandise in stores
- Prepare store to store transfers and return to vendor items
- Communicate merchandise and supply inventory needs to Assistant Managers/Managers and Vendors
- Assist in preparing for and conducting physical inventory
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS:
- Strong organization skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Capacity to work independently
- Previous experience in warehouse or stock roles
