Hotel Information


  • Location : near the historic center of the Portuguese capital, in the corner of Avenidas Antonio Augusto de Aguiar y Fontes Pereira de Melo, near Eduardo VII Park and Marquês de Pombal Square.
  • Number of rooms: 213 rooms (23 suites).
  • Lifestyle, Mode, Brand, Modern and Design Hotel.
  • Radio Rooftop Bar with pool.
  • Specialty restaurant on the 12th floor (connected to the rooftop).
  • Social and dining lounge: Three meals restaurant on the ground floor.
  • Social Lobby: Lobby bar on the ground floor.
  • ME Studios: events with 11 meeting rooms with 600m2.
  • Fitness Center: 80m2.
  • SPA: more than 220m2 with sauna, massage cabins, indoor pool.


Mission of the position

Reporting directly to the General Manager of ME Lisbon, you would be responsible for:

  • The Operations of the Hotel and the strategy of the hotel: planning, coordination, management, supervision and analysis of results from all Hotel Departments.
  • Direct and inspire the high performance of hotel teams continuously evaluating and maintaining high service, quality and productive processes and workflow.
  • Ensure the smooth implementation of the procedures and policies of Melia Hotels International in alignment with the strategic plans.

What are we looking for ?

  • A minimum of 1- 3 years as a Resident Manager positions. 
  • Experience is luxury 5* lifestyle brand is preferred.
  • Lifestyle approach and personality.
  • Profile who knows or could learn about the Lisbon city, foodie, very active in social networks, local culture lover.
  • Hostess profile, be able to be front the operations and guest focus.
  • 360 degrees of Hotel Operations knowledge.
  • University diploma / degree, preferably in Tourism (or equivalent Hospitality and Tourism studies).
  • International experience is preferred.
  • Functional knowledge of all department operations including good understanding of F&B.
  • Attention to detail & a passion for excellence.
  • Demonstrate ability of Human Resources Management & Talent Development.
  • Knowledge of IT tools used in hotel management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • High geographical flexibility is preferred.
  • English and Portuguese language is a must. If you are Spanish and you can be able to learn Portuguese in a short time, can be possible.
  • Able to reside in Lisbon (Portugal).
