Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves creating memorable experiences for guests? We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservations Agent to join our team and be the first point of contact for our guests. To consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
- Handle incoming inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms with efficiency and professionalism. Accurately record reservation details including dates, room types, special requests, and payment information.
- Manage cancellations, modifications, and no-shows while maximizing occupancy rates.
- Provide guests with comprehensive information about our hotel, including room types, amenities, and local attractions.
- Address and resolve any questions or concerns guests may have prior to arrival, ensuring a seamless booking experience. Assist guests with special requests, such as arranging transportation, special accommodations, or unique room setups.
- Identify opportunities to upsell room upgrades, dining packages, and other hotel services to enhance the guest experience and boost revenue.
- Promote loyalty programs and special offers to encourage repeat bookings and longer stays.
- Work closely with the front desk, housekeeping, and sales teams to ensure all guest expectations are communicated and met.
- Keep meticulous records of all reservations, ensuring that the booking system is up-to-date and accurate.
- Guest focused personality is essential
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Previous customer related experience required
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Knowledge of OPERA system is essential
