About the location:

Your own private paradise on a lush coral island. On Desroches Island, there is nothing to distract you from tranquillity, save for the sound of birds singing and an ocean breeze that invites you to come a little closer. We’re the only resort on this captivating coral island in the middle of the Indian Ocean, where the beaches belong to no one and everyone at the same time. Our rustic villas and suites are intimate retreats and will make you feel like a castaway who has struck gold.

  • Converse with guests and answer questions regarding the recreation facilities and the resort
  • Provide orientation of recreation facilities if the guest requests
  • Assist guests with recreation equipment, towels, sport specific wear and gear and water as needed
  • Test operation of all gym equipment daily, inclusive of  TV's, if assigned to the fitness center
  • Conduct fitness activity group/Private session as per guest request
  • Enrolled in tennis match/Private lesson
  • Promote and up sell excursions to guests, customizing where necessary to meet guest needs
  • Adhere to all corporate core standards in execution of programming
  • Work closely with supervisor to ensure proper standards of hygiene and functioning of equipment
  • Assist in handling guest requests, complaints, and any special problems keeping Recreation Management well-informed of action and follow-up
  • Participate fully in all departmental training as outlined by your managerPerform any other tasks or projects as assigned by the hotel management and staff.
