Job Description

THE JOB:  

As a Cocktail Server, you will contribute to a fabulous experience for all guests.  By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories that they can carry with them well past their stay with us. 

  

THE DAY-TO-DAY:  

  • Take and place orders and serve food and drinks 

  • Garnish and serve cocktails to guests 

  • Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available 

  • Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, features, and local attractions and activities 

  • Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment which can include fold/stack cocktail napkins, stock swizzle sticks, straws, matches, line cocktail trays, stock glassware, restock supply cabinet, inspect cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas; rectify any deficiencies 

  • Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management,  

  • Notify supervisor and Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft 

  • Perform other job-related duties as requested  

  

The IDEAL CANDIDATE:  

  • At least 21 years of age 

  • Currently has a TAM card, Food Handler’s Card, and Sheriff’s Card or the ability to obtain one 

  • Previous serving experience, preferably in a high–volume setting 

  • Basic knowledge of alcohol 

  • Ability to be outside for long periods of time 

  • Ability to work various shifts possibly including weekends and holidays 

  

SCHEDULE: 

On Call 

 

STARTING PAY RATE: 

$13.53 per hour + tips
