About the role:

Join our dynamic, diverse team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler as the Overnight Front Desk Supervisor.

As the Overnight Front Desk Supervisor at the Four Seasons Resort Whistler, you would be responsible for managing the activities at the Front Desk during the overnight shift. Directs staff. Ensures communications and follow-up with the day shift on any problems, guest requests or special requirements. supervising the entire hotel during the overnight shift and being familiar with all Front Office, Reservation, Housekeeping, Concierge, Valet Parking and Telephone policies and procedures.

Hourly wage: $24.00 – $25.50 plus $2 per hour overnight shift premium.

What you will do:

  • Efficiently check guests in and out, ensure correct room assignments and rates, arrange luggage delivery, and issue keys.

  • Collect feedback, settle bills accurately, and process payments through credit card or cash transactions.

  • Ensure compliance with financial and credit procedures.

  • Review paid-outs, rebates, Petty Cash disbursements, and Direct Billings.

  • Review late arrivals, early departures, and next day's activities.

  • Coordinate arrivals, departures, and billing requirements, ensuring accuracy.

  • Block rooms for arrivals and resolve any discrepancies promptly.

  • Handle guest relocations according to established guidelines.

  • Resolve customer complaints with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.

  • Assist guests with inquiries and special requests, both in-person and over the phone.

  • Conduct frequent tours of the hotel to oversee operations across all departments.

What you bring:

  • Previous significant experience in a Front Office position or related position.

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.

  • Opera PMS experience preferred.

  • Fluent English (written, spoken, reading).

  • Strong crisis management skills.

  • Strong supervisory skills.

  • Strong commitment to service.

  • Category 5 Driving License (unrestricted Category 4 is an advantage).

  • Ability to work overnights.

  • Ability to work in Canada.

Schedule & Hours:

As our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year, we expect our Overnight Front Desk Supervisor to be flexible in working overnight, weekends, and holidays.
