Marketing & Communications Manager | Rose Wood

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager to join our Rosewood Munich team. Our Marketing & Communications Manager’s main focus is to work closely with the Director of Communications to support him/her to implement and execute the strategy and activity plan for the hotel and its wellness areas and F&B areas. This involves different fields, such as marketing (online, offline), PR /communications, social media, marketing collateral, advertising and promotional activities (both online and offline). All activities should be effectively delivered within an agreed timeframe and budget with measurable ROI on all promotions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct industry research, identify emerging channels, and manage content execution in line with brand guidelines and the overall digital marketing strategy.
  • Develop, execute, manage, and analyze digital marketing campaigns for the hotel, including wellness, culinary programs, services, and personal aspects.
  • Create compelling and accurate content for various channels, such as press releases, newsletters, website, and social media.
  • Supervise digital content across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, WeChat, Google, and OTA platforms.
  • Oversee eDMs and implement CRM strategy, including eNewsletters for consumers and business-to-business, along with overall database management.
  • Manage and deliver day-to-day marketing activities in alignment with the agreed marketing strategy, supporting the achievement of hotel revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with sales, rooms, wellness, and food and beverage teams to share knowledge, best practices, and experiences.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to craft and disseminate press releases, manage media relations, and ensure consistent messaging aligned with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Support in developing local brand partnerships to drive marketing opportunities.
  • Manage hotel packages highlighting all areas of the hotel and local activations/partners.
  • Track campaign success to understand the return on investment and facilitate future promotion plans through effective reporting.
  • Identify beneficial media coverage to improve brand awareness and establish strong relationships with relevant media outlets.
  • Maintain the hotel’s website, including media pages and promotion of current seasonal/special offers.
  • Support the management of marketing events and other departments during key activities like special events.
  • Create a monthly marketing report detailing key achievements, activities, social media statistics and analytics, and future key initiatives.
  • Undertake industry research as required (awards, competitors, website, advertising, third-party promotions, etc.).
