The Lead Audio/Visual Technician will be responsible for the operation of equipment during events and special projects. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us. 

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Lead installation, strike and operation of all Audio/Visual equipment for room events and special projects.
  • Allocate projects/assignments to A/V Techs.
  • Train new employees on department policies and procedures.
  • Provide quality control on A/V equipment and systems to make sure they are working properly by performing preventive maintenance.
  • Diagnose and resolve media system problems.
  • Repair and maintain electronic equipment such as audio, video, sound, lighting and projection systems.
  • Notify supervisor when any major equipment repairs are needed.
  • Ensure system service information and personal daily work logs are maintained.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least four (4) years of prior relevant experience within the A/V field.
  • Understands that this is an events-based position, and shifts will be varied and can include weekends and/or holidays.
  • Experience working with Digital Projection Systems, LCD Monitors, Video Switchers, Audio and Lighting Systems is preferred.

THE STARTING PAY: $34.80/hour DOE.
