Job Description

The beautiful DoubleTree by Hilton Crystal City is seeking a full-time laundry attendant to join their team! This 627-room property is half a mile south of The Pentagon near I-395 and the Pentagon City Metro station is only a three-block walk away! As a Laundry Attendant, you would be responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Ideal candidates for this position will have the physical ability to keep up with the demands of the position, a great attitude and a passion for teamwork!

Shift Pattern: candidates should have availability to work an evening shift (from 3 pm to 11:30 pm) weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed

Pay Rate: $20.60 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Laundry Attendant, you would be responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Perform all stages of linen processing, including, but not limited to, collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading (washers, dryers and chutes), ironing, folding, storing and delivering
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry machinery and laundry area
• Maintain stock levels
• Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Perform additional laundry services, as needed
