The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh’s most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. Our hotel’s majestic clock defines the city’s skyline and since the day we opened in 1902 it has run three minutes fast to ensure our guests will never miss their train.

The Position

As a member of our dedicated team of porters, you will be integral in maintaining immaculate standards of hygiene, health, and safety in the kitchen and storage areas. Daily duties could include anything from ensuring the floors and food prep areas are spotless to helping the team with deliveries, so a can-do attitude and willingness to muck in are essential.

While happy working independently, you will also thrive as part of a team, communicating with colleagues with confidence and sensitivity.
