As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:

Kitchen Technician 

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, refrigerators, and dishwashers.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues and make necessary repairs.
  • Install new equipment and ensure it is functioning properly.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and order replacements as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to address any equipment-related concerns or issues.
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities in a detailed manner.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology and trends in kitchen equipment. 
    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines.

Laundry Technician 

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues and perform necessary repairs.
  • Ensure that all laundry equipment is functioning properly and efficiently.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and order replacements as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with laundry staff to address any equipment-related concerns or issues.
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities in a detailed manner.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology and trends in laundry equipment.

Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in maintaining and repairing laundry & kitchen equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical and refrigeration systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
