Job Description

The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh’s most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. The Position

Do you consider yourself a natural organiser? Possess outstanding administrative skills and a knack with people? Are you ready to take on an exciting new HR role at a world-leading luxury hotel? Then we would love to invite you to join us a Human Resources Administrator at Rocco Forte Hotels.

You will be responsible for supporting the management and maintenance of our HR and training department. You will assist and support new employees from the moment they start with us, through hiring, training and all communications. You will manage new starter admin, provide appropriate advisory support in areas such as performance management and best practice, and contribute to the hotel’s recruitment process – including immigration and legislative requirements. In other words, your work will be crucial to the staffing – and therefore running – of the hotel. 

In addition although not exhaustive you will assit with:

  • Maintaining correspondence with candidates via phone and email.
  • Organising and attending job fairs and networking with candidates both at in person and virtual events.
  • Supporting operations in all aspects of recruitment and onboarding.
  • Assisting the Human Resources team with daily and ad-hoc duties when required (e.g. general administration tasks, supporting general activities social, engagement & performance).
  • Creating internal poster campaigns to support HR activities.
  • Minute taker in relevant HR meetings.

Previous experience in hotels and CIPD is desirable.

£28k expected package (salary plus service charge)
