The Position

Looking for an opportunity to bring your experience, business acumen and people skills to a world-leading luxury hotel? Then we’d love you to join us at Rocco Forte Hotels as Group & Event Planning Manager.

You will be responsible for the servicing and planning of all residential and non-residential groups, events and social occasions. You will take full responsibility for the seamless transition of events to the operational departments to ensure world class Scottish hospitality is delivered to all our clients.

You will lead the Events Planning team and work in collaboration with the Sales Team and all operational departments. You will drive Meeting and Event income and aim to exceed targets set. You will manage a team to ensure that Events are executed to a five star level and be hands on at Event planning for larger events.

You will be a passionate professional individual and thrive on building relationships. You will be highly organised with a keen eye for detail, you’ll be unflappable in a high-pressure environment, remaining energised and confident when challenges arise. You’ll be a creative thinker and a team player, confident in sharing and developing your ideas.

Proven experience in a demanding Event Planning environment is preferable and understanding of a luxury brand is essential. A confident and outgoing individual, you will be able to demonstrate relationship building, exceptional communication skills and a true passion for your profession. You will require excellent organisational skills, an ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
