THE JOB:

At Bavette's, the Food Server's primary role is to take and deliver customer orders, maintain tables for guest satisfaction, process checks, and set the stage for the guest experience with a welcoming smile and exceptional service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their dining experience, creating WOW memories that will resonate with them long after their visit, while also handling side work and general cleaning of assigned stations.

STARTING RATE: $13.5343 plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Extend a warm and friendly welcome to guests, ensuring they feel valued and embraced in our fine dining atmosphere.

  • Demonstrate expertise in selling techniques and meticulous service delivery for each course and beverage, upholding our commitment to exceptional dining experiences.

  • Maintain the impeccable cleanliness and refinement of tables, side stations, and POS stations, employing a silent service approach that aligns with our high standards of fine dining while ensuring the seamless flow of service throughout all assigned areas.

  • Accurately itemize bills and efficiently process payments, reflecting our dedication to precision and professionalism in every transaction.

  • Anticipate and exceed guest needs with a sense of urgency, enhancing their dining experience with attentive and anticipatory service.

  • Foster open communication with management, chefs, and culinary staff to promptly address any guest concerns or requests, ensuring a flawless dining experience for all.

  • Ability to handle physical demands of the roll, including lifting carrying pushing and pulling objects up to 50lbs.

  • Preform other job-related duties as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Two (2) years food server experience.

  • Two (2) years fine dining experience.

  • One (1) year customer service experience.

  • Wine knowledge and certifications.
