20217月に開業して以来、わずか1年半の間に「ミシュランガイド東京2023」にてミシュラン2つ星を獲得いたしましたファインダイニング「SÉZANNE(セザン)」、及び2021年6月オープンのビストロ「Maison Marunouchi (メゾン マルノウチ)」での受付やご案内、電話やインターネットでの予約や問い合わせの対応。全57室というスモールラグジュアリーホテルで、他のホテルが真似できないパーソナルなサービスを提供しています。また、世界中からお越しになるお客様のご要望に対し、フレキシブルなサービスを提供します。これまでの経験を生かしたいという方、またフォーシーズンズでもっと学びたいという方、ご応募お待ちしています。

「MAISON MARUNOUCHI (メゾン マルノウチ)」は、「セカンドハウス」にいるかのような、暖かく親しみに満ちた雰囲気のフレンチビストロです。活気に満ちた東京駅の眺めを背景に、人気のアフタヌーンティーはもちろん、朝食からナイトキャップまで、多彩なメニューをご堪能いただけます。

Basic Function:

  • Hostess position in the food and beverage service

Role and Responsibilities

  • Answer telephones according to Four Seasons standards and take guest reservations or provide information regarding the restaurant or any other hotel service.
  • Anticipate the needs of guests, respond accordingly to guest inquiries or problems, and recognize regular guests by name and utilize the guest’s name consistently.
  • Set up host/hostess stand, review guest reservation book, maintain a station chart and cover count for the restaurant while recognizing the maximum workload capacity of each server in order to meet Four Seasons Service standards.
  • Seat guests promptly at a table pre-set for the number in the party and according to guest preference.
  • Displays warmth, care, and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with guests and internal customers, Lives the golden rule.

Departmental

  • Ensures the host desk is ready with required equipment.
  • Takes responsibility of maintaining the guest profile, contact details and their preferences
  • Is familiar with beverage and food menu.
  • Provides genuine hospitality and recognition.
  • Engage in guest interaction in a sensitive and appropriate manner; anticipates guest needs and takes ownership of guest simple requests.

Specific responsibilities and task

General

  • Adheres to the hotel’s code of conduct and grooming standards.
  • Actively participates in briefing and meetings.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area and promotes a safe working environment.

Departmental

  • Should have the complete details of guests dinning in the restaurant like resident or walk in, celebrating any occasion, etc
  • Should have a proper floor plan with awareness of tables available.
  • Should ensure to have the tables ready as per the reservation of the day.
  • Should inform the server about the dietary restrictions if known during the time of reservation.
  • Bid farewell the guests while they are leaving.

Appropriate manual/policy and procedure:

  • Four seasons service culture standards.
  • Four seasons core standards.

Skills

1.Confidential, privacy and proprietary data statement.

2.Policy against harassment.

3.Electronic system policy.

4.Ability to speak, read and write Japanese.

                                                                               

Experience:                                                          

  • Has to have6-12 months of relevant experience in a 5-star hotel/resort.
  • Possesses excellent English, Japanese and psychometric abilities.
  • Possesses guest recognition skills and personal flair.
  • Basic knowledge in food and beverage
