JOB SUMMARY

The Executive Host is responsible for providing quality customer service, guest satisfaction, and increasing rated play and loyalty of casino patrons.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delegate authority, and assign responsibilities and work schedules to department staff.
  • Provides direct leadership to Casino Hosts.
  • Communicates directly with guests regarding upcoming promotions and special events.
  • Provides personalized guest service through direct interactions with guests through various methods of communication.
  • Evaluates guests’ play for purposes of issuing comps.
  • Manages development, planning, communicating, and implementing player special events.
  • Develops and manages the departmental budget, including capital expenditures.
  • Monitors staffing levels to ensure budgetary compliance.
  • Oversees interviewing, hiring, training and evaluating department staff.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality relative to financial information, operating systems, company policies and procedures, marketing plans, and team member and guest information.
  • Prepares and delivers reports as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, 5+ years of experience in the sales or marketing field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • Gaming industry experience is required.
  • High-level public relations and customer service skills are necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required.
  • Must be able to work any necessary hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Read, write, and understand complex instructions and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with all casino guests, casino departments, and fellow team members.
  • Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to stand, sit and walk for long periods of time.
  • Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting and noise levels.
  • Must possess excellent communications and guest service skills.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.

Ability to obtain a valid state gaming license.
