PRIMARY PURPOSE: 

It is the primary responsibility of the Event Attendant to perform event décor installation and tear down tasks and ensure that events are completed efficiently, safely and meet company standards.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Perform event-related installation tasks including pulling inventory, loading/unloading, delivery and on-site set-up
  • Perform event-related tear down tasks including on-site disassembly of props, florals, linen and decor, loading/unloading, return and restocking
  • Execute installation and strike of smaller scale events with the guidance of Event Setup Specialist or Supervisor
  • Operate company trucks, vans and lifts, notify management of gas and maintenance needs
  • Adhere to safety, security and property dock/loading procedures and policies
  • Ensure that venues/MREP studio is clean and orderly, tools are maintained and equipment is properly stored after use.
  • Report loss, theft, or damage. 
  • Properly pack, unpack and check goods against orders and handle inventory to protect against damage
  • Accurately read and complete all required paperwork
  • Create a SHOW Service work environment promoting creativity, collaboration, teamwork, recognition, mutual respect.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • At least 1 year experience in special event install and strike.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:  

  • Have or be able to obtain a valid Nevada driver's license
