Job Description
SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing all Environmental Services Attendant duties as described below throughout the Casino.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain a high level of quality and appearance in all areas of responsibility including Environmental Services storage areas and equipment.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge in the safe and correct use of all daily cleaning chemicals and proper operation of equipment as measured by routine inspection and by semi-annual testing by a supervisor.
- Demonstrate proper use of PPE (glasses, gloves, belts).
- Must attend OSHA and related safety training.
- Demonstrate proper equipment usage according to department standards.
- Clean and maintain assigned areas of floor, rest rooms, and other areas as instructed by supervisory staff. Must be able to use vacuum cleaners, mops, brooms, sweepers, dusters, etc.
- Keep rest room and supply areas fully stocked.
- Clean steps and stairwells.
- Operate advance and commercial upright vacuum cleaners.
- Move trash cart from work areas to dumpster and unload
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 21 years old to apply
- Working knowledge of chemical and cleaning supplies, as well as proper techniques and safety procedures (ie. MSDS, OSHA)
- Work in different areas of casino under varying conditions of heat, cold, illumination and air quality.
- Horizontally move items weighing a minimum of twenty-five pounds (25 lbs.).
- Must be able to work in an outdoor smoking area
- Tolerate presence and/or use of chemicals, cleansers and solvents.
