JOB SUMMARY: NO exceptions:   Facilities Engineer must be proficient and versatile in one or more building trades; electrical, painting, carpentry, industrial plumbing, HVAC, kitchen appliances, swimming pools, and general mechanics.

    standards. Ability to comply with safety policies and procedures. 

**Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instruction.

**Must be able to work unsupervised, schedule own work activities, order correct parts

    to properly repair and maintain all equipment.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:  Valid driver’s license.  Must be proficient and skilled with 3 years or more experience in one or more of the building trades (Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Carpentry and Painting).  Prefer working knowledge of chemicals, pools & spas, Television and videos.

PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS: Lift up to 50 lbs. Push and pull up to 100 lbs. Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and hear. Dexterity to utilize tools. Walk entire shift. Stand for long periods of time or entire shift. Walk up and down stairs. Type. Work in hot temperatures. Work in cold temperatures. Work in Secondhand smoke environment. Run. Maneuver in confined spaces. Tolerate high noise areas. Tolerate bright lights. Able to work in a dusty environment. Work flexible schedules. Work in outdoor weather conditions (hot/cold). Understand, read, write and speak English. Sit for long periods of time
