To begin in April 2024, Rosewood Amsterdam is currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Director of Revenue who is a well-rounded and seasoned individual to be part of our team.
Job Summary
  • Administrates standards, application strategy and health for all revenue management applications and tools. Product Owner for all revenue management systems.
  • Directs the execution of revenue/yield strategies through maximizing systems and tools encompassing all facets of pricing, demand analysis, revenue management, market segmentation, selling strategies and tactics.
  • Works together with the Regional Director of Revenue to set up all systems and partners in time for the opening of Rosewood Amsterdam. 
  • Owns the pre-opening process for Revenue Management and Revenue System processes for Rosewood Amsterdam
  • Develops and implements strategic revenue management plans to maximize profit.
  • Works with the Sales & Marketing team to develop a strategic commercial plan.
  • Monitors revenue variance, constantly, to identify areas of concern and build an approach to maximize revenue. 
  • Oversees the management of distribution channels and third-party partnerships to ensure a strong online presence and revenue growth. 
  • Seeks opportunities, actively, to increase revenue. 
  • Understand the competitive marketplace through analysis of trends and data and build a strategic approach to manage trends.
  • Drives market share and revenue performance through proper pricing, inventory controls and mix management. 
  • Creates and owns and analysis the revenue reporting, identifies need periods and implements tactical actions with the sales and marketing team.  
  • Maximize RevPar through the management of room inventories and market mixes. 
  • Is responsible for effective implementation and compliance with Rosewood Revenue Management standards.  
  • Continuously evaluates and refines established Revenue Management support processes, taking into consideration Hotels’ needs, the market and competitive environment as well as cost of services provided.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
  • Mastery of hotel and distribution systems
  • Multi-language fluency in spoken & written communication English, Dutch is a preference.
  • Strong capabilities and techniques for learning facilitation and talent development
  • Display an understanding of regional and market differences
  • Demonstrate an affinity with automation and statistical systems
  • Demonstrate a global competency of the unique needs of various countries and markets
  • 8+ years progressive work-related experience in the hotel industry is required.
  • 6+ years extensive sales/revenue management experience in the similar position in the hotel is required. 
  • Experience in setting up (revenue management) systems
  • Area Revenue Manager or Director of Revenue Management position at luxury hotel or equivalent position
  • Sales and Marketing experience desirable.
