Role
We are currently looking for a Director of Communications to join our leadership team at Rosewood London. Our Director of Communications is entrusted to support the Director of Sales & Marketing in the management of the day to day workings of the Communications team; managing and
integrating the hotel’s public relations and communications.
Key expectations of this role are
- Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of: a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance the hotel’s image and position within the marketplace and the general public, and facilitate internal and external communications.
- Lead all hotel marketing, communications and public relations activities and materials including publications, media relations, client acquisition.
- Ensure exceptional articulation of the hotel’s desired image and position and assure communication of image and position to all constituencies, both internal and external.
- Responsible for editorial direction, storytelling and profiling of key spokespersons including design, production, and distribution of all publications.
- Responsible for all PR, marketing and social agency management and performance as well as RFP process, onboarding and budgeting.
- Act as the hotel’s representative for all media.
Profile
- Experience at managerial level within a Communications environment.
- Proven experience of leading and developing people effectively.
- The ability to manage, draft and allocate complex budgets.
- A thorough understanding of managing various stakeholders and their expectations.
