PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Director of Employee Relations works closely with the VP ER/LR Operations in creating, planning and directing all aspects of the Company's ER/LR Center of Excellence with an emphasis on ER functions, including ensuring adherence to labor laws, regulations, and policies and procedures. This Director executes comprehensive strategies, initiatives, action plans and processes to improve critical organizational performance in the areas of employee engagement and employee relations excellence.

  • Lead the ER Center of Excellence staff in meeting service level agreements around timely resolution of ER situations and reduction in expenses related to unfavorable outcomes.

  • Provide advice and counsel to operational and property HR leaders on escalated employee relations situations.

  • Consult, support and provide guidance to HR property leaders on employee relations trends in their business units.

  • Facilitate and monitor effectiveness of Employee Relations training tools for operational management.

  • Oversee employee relations metrics, scorecards and dashboards.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • 4+ years of prior relevant experience
