Count Room Clerk – Mandalay Bay | MGM Resorts International

Job Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE: 

As a Count Room Clerk, you will set the stage for fabulous guest experiences with your superior service and attention to detail in the collection and processing of currency on property.  

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Collection of cash, tickets and tokens from each machine or revenue area  

  • Count, Sort, Strap, Rack, Transport, and Record all funds 

  • Produce and maintain accurate count team data 

  • Maintain programs and equipment used in the drop and count processes 

  • Ensure a clean and organized count room 

  • Perform other job-related duties as requested 

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: 

  • Has a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent 

  • Able to work with a team in a fast-paced environment 

  • Proficient in the management of cash transactions 

  • Previous experience is a bonus 

  • Have a basic knowledge of computer software  

  • Has a current NV Gaming License or the ability to obtain one 

 

SCHEDULE: 

Full Time: 3:00am-11:00am, possible weekends and holidays
