About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria is looking for a Communications Agent; you are responsible to serve as the voice of hospitality company staff with goals like providing exceptional customer service. 

What will you do

1. The ability to follow proper payroll procedures.

2. The ability to provide general information and inquiries to all callers and is familiar with all hotel services, hours of operation, key hotel personnel, daily activities, special function, etc.

3. The ability to successfully utilize the telephone switchboard, the hotel computer system, telex and facsimile machines.

4. The ability to answer all incoming calls promptly with a pleasant tone of voice, using names when possible, and routing calls to proper extensions.

5. The ability to accept and place wake-up calls for hotel guests.

6. The ability to assist with "Do Not Disturb" requests, screening calls, "No Information" calls, busy extensions, transferring calls, call forwarding, call holding, call pick-up, call waiting, threeway conversations, trunk queuing, collect calls, visitors, and paging/radio equipment.

7. The ability to assist callers in placement of local or long distance and prepare charges for posting to proper accounts.

8. The ability to report and log all telephone maintenance and operational problems.

9. The ability to assist the manager in the reconciliation of monthly telephone bills.

10. The ability to handle messages accurately and timely.

11. The ability to respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.

12. The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.

13. The ability to maintain upkeep of phone equipment and headsets.

14. The ability to coordinate all special telephone requests for guests in meeting or guest rooms.

What will you bring
