Cluster Sales and Marketing Coordinator | Rose Wood

Job Description

This is an exciting new role within Rosewood Hotels in New Zealand. The role of the Cluster Marketing and Communications Coordinator is to support the management of all areas of the marketing and communications department for the following properties: Rosewood Kauri Cliffs, Rosewood Cape Kidnappers and Rosewood Matakauri. You’ll bring your creative eye and enthusiasm to this role to showcase our beautiful properties. You will be a part of an experienced and passionate team who will continue to guide and develop your skills and abilities. 


 Key Responsibilities Include: 

  • Assists with the coordination of marketing and communication activities
  • Help to oversee agency and media relationship management, social media management and content creation, event management for both media and guests and partnerships.
  • Supports all marketing and communication projects, including strategic planning, property programming, event planning, and building media relationships
  • Supports with the planning of media outreach initiatives and supports projects including press release writing and distribution, press kit compilation, photography selection.
  • Always a “Brand Ambassador” at all times and ensures brand integrity and clarity are always maintained.
  • Models the company’s culture, vision, mission and core values at all times. 

 What you will bring: 

  • Excellent computer skills, including MS PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, Excel and Word
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • The ability to meet deadlines, and work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written English
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite advantageous
  • Experience in digital marketing and social media management or equivalent education
  • Experience or interest in event planning favourable
  • Ability to work as part of a team, in a collaborative environment
  • The willingness to travel to our properties when required
