About the role: 

This role is based at Rosewood Cape Kidnappers, in beautiful Hawkes Bay. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders across the business to develop and implement strategies and plans to achieve our short and long-term financial objectives. You will also be responsible for corporate and executive reporting on the overall results of the NZ Cluster hotels. 

This role will require you to be strategic, provide day to day advice and support to Hotel Leaders and Heads of Departments. You will have a good understanding of business processes in a hospitality environment. A commercial view will be required, and the ability to challenge and influence others to ensure optimal business outcomes are achieved. 

This is a key position and the successful candidate will need to have extensive experience, a strong focus on excellence, plenty of enthusiasm and a flexible approach.  The right applicant must be self-motivated, a strong and professional leader, and able to work well in a high-pressure environment. 

About you:

You will be a talented numbers person who brings creativity, enthusiasm and energy to this critical role! Other attributes that will contribute to your success would include: 

  • Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience, ideally in the hospitality industry 
  • Experience in multiple entity reporting 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels with both financial and non-financial managers 
  • Strong negotiation, facilitation, and conflict resolution 
  • Strong commercial acumen 
  • Proven technical ability including advanced excel skills 
  • Budgeting experience 
  • Experience in presenting to business leaders and executive management 
  • Self-driven and results orientated 
  • Leads by example.
