Job Description

We are inviting you to work at one of Syndey’s most iconic hotels to provide efficient and comprehensive service of food and beverages to guests in Club InterContinental in True Hospitality style and to the Club InterContinental standard. 

Be responsible for all aspects of guest service including set-up, food and beverage service, amenity delivery, guest interactions and VIP preparations. 

 

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Acknowledging IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests 
  • Taking, managing, and receiving payments for guest bookings
  • Making the check-in and check-out process for our VIPs feel swift and seamless
  • Anticipating guest needs and being proactive 
  • Creating a warm and engaging atmosphere in the Club Lounge 
  • Close cooperation with Front Office and providing assistance when required

 

What We need from you:

  • Great Communication skills – guests will address you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll often be the first to talk to 
  • Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities and customers into loyal guests
  • Front Office & Opera experience preferred
  • Fluency in the local language – extra language skills would be great, but is not essential 
  • Positive Work attitude and providing a smile for our guests and colleagues
