Are you a culinary expert with a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences? We are thrilled to announce the opening of our newly launched hotel and restaurant, in partnership with renowned chef Gareth Stewart at Advieh Restaurant and Bar, located at the prestigious InterContinental Auckland. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie to join our dynamic team and contribute to our diverse culinary offerings across various sections of the kitchen.

Explore your journey ahead

  • Assisting in the preparation and execution of high-quality dishes across multiple sections of our kitchen.
  • Independent Initiative: Work autonomously and unsupervised, demonstrating strong decision-making skills and the ability to handle the demands of a dynamic kitchen environment.
  • Cooking Mastery: Possess a general knowledge of cookery techniques, with the ability to create innovative and delectable dishes that exceed guest expectations.
  • Contributing creative ideas to menu development and daily specials, showcasing your culinary expertise and passion.
  • Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

What we need from you 

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role, demonstrating a strong background in culinary arts. 
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with the culinary team and other colleagues.
  • Passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to maintaining high food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Relevant culinary qualifications and certifications.
