Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must be able to Obtain Nevada Gaming.

 

SUMMARY:  The Cage/Credit Clerk performs the cashiering functions for an assigned Cage window or the chip bank during their shift.  Cage/Credit Clerk responsible for enrolling all new players, giving proper instruction on card usage and benefits of the membership.  

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Redeem guest chips and cash guest checks. 
  • Operate central credit computer and complete credit card advances.
  • Assist in completing guest credit applications and approve guest credit within prescribed limits.
  • Responsible for balancing bankroll.
  • Handle money exchanges with various departments.
  • Responsible for the identification, sign-up, tracking and needs of players utilizing the ACSC system.
  • Accurately input all player records into the computer system.
  • Inventory and usage control on all promotional prizes and supplies.
  • Provide information and assistance, as needed, to players regarding all areas and departments of the Hotel and Casino.
  • Adhere to all gaming regulations.
  • Must be available for scheduled work.
  • Must exhibit the Family Style Service model at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent required. Six months or more years related experience in a casino, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS 

Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s), if any. 

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Must be able to read and write simple lists, interoffice memorandums, and business correspondence. 

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
