Job Description/Responsibilities:       

Blackstone Credit & Insurance is one of the largest credit asset managers in the world and is a leading investor in structured credit through its Infrastructure & Asset-Based Credit (“IABC”) platform.  IABC employs a broad strategy with investments across infrastructure debt, asset based lending, sustainable resources, and corporate solutions through both private and public markets.  IABC targets investments across multiple key sectors including energy transition, infrastructure, consumer & commercial finance, along with large corporate companies.

Senior Associates in IABC will have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of the investment process from origination to closing. Responsibilities include financial analysis and modeling, transaction structuring and execution, industry research and competitive analysis, and drafting of memoranda for internal and external use. Candidates can expect to work on numerous projects at once across various investment opportunities. 

Qualifications:
Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills, the successful candidate should have the following:

  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience in investment banking, structured finance, or infrastructure investing

  • Experience in credit underwriting, financial modeling, and due diligence analysis

  • Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills

  • Strong organizational and process management skills

  • Strong communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to write effectively

  • A desire to work in a team environment, and the ability to think and work independently

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and responsibilities

Expected annual base salary range:

$150,000 – $185,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
